Every year Ethan's school holds a run-a-thon called Rail Ranch Runs. The kids all run around the track at school to raise money for field trips ( didn't the school district use to pay for those??) Ethan ran on Friday the 13th and he did AWESOME!! He came in second place, running 18 laps. 18 laps equals 3 and 3/4 miles! WOW!! Who would have thought that a kid that I gave birth to would have the ability to run that far in 30 minutes? He said he only stopped on lap 10 to catch his breath. We're so proud! And all of his grandparents are sponsoring him and sending him money. He even got a cool gold medal. All I have to say is that next time we miss the ice cream truck I'm throwing my money at Ethan and telling him to run his little legs off and go get me a Snow Cone.
